The Mater Dei Country Fair is an annual event organised by Mater Dei School, that serves as a significant fundraiser, supporting the school’s programs for children and young adults with intellectual disabilities.
The 2024 Mater Dei Country Fair took place on Sunday, 27th October. This free, family-friendly event featured a variety of activities, including market stalls, a BBQ, Devonshire tea, a chocolate wheel, raffles, entertainment, and rides. Additionally, the fair hosted the Mater Dei School Ex-Student Reunion, providing alumni an opportunity to reconnect and share their experiences.
The fair is a cherished tradition within the community, offering a day of fun while raising essential funds for the school’s initiatives. Sponsorships and community support play a crucial role in the event’s success, directly benefiting the students and programs at Mater Dei.
