History of Pepper Tree Ridge
Pepper Tree Ridge is an Australian colonial homestead built in the 1860’s by the son of Alexander Berkeley Campbell, one of the pioneers of Stone Quarry (Picton). Originally the homestead was called Inverary, an extensive dairying property on Razorback. Built in two stages, the Colonial/Victorian house was a double brick home made from local materials (the bricks were handmade from clay hills behind the home). The later extension, mirroring the original double brick wall construction, was completed in 1992.
